Knee Strength & Mobility Training
5 Knee Exercises You Should Be Doing for Better Knee Strength, Health and Mobility
I get so many questions about training the knee joint and I think one of the most important things that everyone should know is that the knee rotates. I think this little known fact is where so many of us miss the mark.
Most of us already know knee flexion and extension. We do it all the time when we walk up and down stairs. We do it when we squat or bend the knee. What we may not notice is that in order for the knee to flex, Tibial rotation is required.
Your Tibia is the lower leg bone. When in the bottom of a squat the Tibia needs to rotate. When sitting on the knees in ankle posture of Yoga, the Tibia is required to rotate.
Not understanding this fundamental aspect leaves us with blindspots in our knee training. But don’t worry, I got you.
In my latest youtube video below, I show you 5 knee exercises you should be doing.
And drop me a comment and let me know if you found this perspective helpful. And be sure to share with someone who kneeds this… practicing my Dad jokes.
