When conducting an assessment it’s important that we simply record our findings. We shouldn’t go into an assessment looking for anything in particular. We shouldn’t be looking to confirm a bias. All we want to do is find out information.

That information will guide us to the next decision we must make. What inputs should we prescribe. Maybe we find deficits in movements. Maybe we find lots of Passive Range, but not enough Active control of that range. Maybe we find that there isn’t enough Passive Range for the activities the person likes to do.

The answers we get from our assessment will help us design programming that help
