When people enter the Personal Training space, they often believe that it’s an easy way to make a buck and that they’ll get rich doing this job. More often than not, the vast majority of trainers are not successful at this job. Most people don’t make a career from it and are simply moonlighting and playing around, never really taking it seriously.
Over the years, I’ve met so many trainers who end up changing careers, moving into Real Estate or some other job. On the other hand, I’ve also seen Drake style personal trainers. Those types of trainers who didn’t pay their dues or hone their craft by actually working with bodies, but simply rode some social media popularity to success and high earnings.
Some can fake it until they make it, surviving on looks, body image, etc. But the ones who stand the test of time have the mind and expertise to match.
In this brief episode, I highlight the myth of the glamorous trainer life.
