September Mobility Snack - Hips & Spine

Exploring the relationship between your Hips and Low Back

A part of strength training is awareness. A major part of understanding your spine is learning how it moves, along with learning where it moves and doesn’t move. As with anything in life AWARENESS and then acknowledgement is your Point A.

The ability to access specific ranges of motion is required to create strength in those ranges of motion. If you can’t move somewhere, then you can’t create strength there. Limiting your movement in various spaces, limits your ability to create strength through a wide range of space.

So how do we address this?

We can begin by regular exploration of the space you have.

Ideally we do this with our Daily CARs routine, but often times we can set ourselves up to experience a variety of different movements.

In this week’s Mobility Snack, we move through some very simple exploratory movements that you can easily do at your desk, on your sofa or wherever you may find yourself sitting around NOT moving.
